Margate heats up in June, and never more so than for BEACHSTOCK 2026 The Planet’s Biggest Beach Party. Admission is always FREE and no beach badges are ever required at the event. This year features new food vendors, more kid’s activities, an eclectic live music line-up, free surf and kite lessons, cornhole, volleyball, Tiki Beach Bar, the Jetty x Ben Gravy Pineapple Surf Classic and so much more! Beachstock, a Margate tradition for 15 years, attracts over 8,000 visitors and returns to the beach Saturday June 27th (Rain Date: Sunday, 28th) 8:00am – 10 pm between Huntington and Granville Ave, Margate.

HOME RUN DERBY

Back by popular demand, and now a part of Beachstock on Saturday, is the MBA Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby on the Granville Ave. beach from 11am-1pm. All hitters will be divided into age groups and have 10 swings off a tee to hit the most home runs over the fence in their age group for awesome prizes. FOOD & BEVERAGE

This year’s Beachstock food scene is bigger and better than ever. New culinary additions include DonutNV, Margate Clam Shack bringing a fresh range of flavors to the event. Fan favorites like Margate Dairy Bar & Burger, Cali Shakes, Tacocat, The Muffin top and South Jersey Smoke House return to deliver the tastes attendees have come to crave.

The waterfront Tiki Bar will offer a refreshing variety of new adult beverages, perfect for sipping by the sea! A must visit for the 21 and older crowd is the beer garden featuring adult beverage tastings and service area of to drink canned products wine and beer. The area will be highlighted by an island vibe complete with palm trees, flamingos, Adirondack chairs, umbrellas, cornhole games, swag giveaways and more! Make sure you try samples from Stateside Super Lyte, Good Boy Vodka & Frank’s Espresso Martini!

FREE ACTIVITIES

Returning to Beachstock is the Sustainable Downbeach tent featuring terrapins, fun environmental educational interactive activities, displays and more. Those wanting to learn more about what lives in our waters and all the beautiful aspects of our beach can meet at the main stage for an environmental walk hosted by “Scuba” Steve Jasecki, a member of the Sustainable Downbeach team.

Sand sculpting lessons with Matthew Deibert, Margate Fire Departments Cool Blast, Kid’s Treasure Hunt, limbo contests, surf lessons with Stacey’s Surf Camp, Air Circus Kite Shop single/double line stunt kite demonstrations and lessons, and WAWA Margate giveaways. The Margate City Police Department will be at their tent providing valuable public information and give aways. NJ Unclaimed Property will also be on site to help reconnect residents with lost assets.

For the first time at Beachstock, there will be a special appearance by the world’s favorite mascot, the
Phillie Phanatic. The giant furry green guy from the Galapagos brings his special brand of fun and chaos
to the Margate beach, bringing joy and laughter to children and adults alike.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

Entertainment on two stages will keep the fun going all day long. The Cat Country Main Stage will groove with the dance hits of The Shoobs and rock with timeless classics from No Clue Band and Right Turn at 40.

Headlining the After Dark experience is i Candee, bringing an energetic set of modern pop hits along with favorites from Journey, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, and more.

Beachstock legends The South Pacific Island Dancers return with their traditional Polynesian luau dances and thrilling fire warriors. Family-friendly appearances from the cast of The Hook add another outrageous and memorable element to Beachstock.

The Kids’ Stage will be packed with activities throughout the afternoon, including an appearance by Miss New Jersey, performances by students of Susie Neustadter, an eco-friendly treasure hunt, and “Wonders of the Beach” with Sustainable Downbeach’s own Scuba Steve. Blake’s Gymnastics and the Emerald Isle Irish Dancers will also perform on the Kids’ Stage.

NEW THIS YEAR

New for 2026, the Jetty x Ben Gravy Pineapple Surf Classic brings an exciting multi-division surf
competition to Margate’s shoreline.  Jetty is a New Jersey based eco-friendly apparel company that
“embodies the fickle conditions of Northeast surf, and encourages outdoor adventure.” Jetty prioritizes
supporting coastal communities with events like the Pineapple Surf Classic through their non-profit, the
Jetty Rock Foundation. Professional surfer Ben Gravy will headline the event, known for traveling the
world chasing waves and sharing his experiences with a global audience. The event will feature team-
based heats, open competition, and youth surf experiences.

AFTER DARK

The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down!

At 6:30 PM, enjoy a sunset movie screening of Spongebob movie: The Search for Squarepants on the beach, followed by a glowing bonfire to light up the night. Be wowed by the South Pacific Island Dancers as they bring the beach to life with their mesmerizing moves. Then at 8:30 PM, ICandee takes the stage.

Hot music, firelight, and ocean air — the perfect summer night.

CORNHOLE

The always popular Margate Cornhole League Spring Championship sponsored by Marketplace Realty and Beachstock Family Fun Cornhole Tournament will take place in the center of the event site. Official rules will apply, and teams can compete to win cash prizes. Spectators and guests can watch the tournament from the Colmar Home Center Chill Zone featuring comfy furniture and refreshments. Children and adults can participate in this family fun competition.

VOLLEYBALL

Sign up for this years Beachstock Volleyball Tournament presented by AC Volleyball Factory! Teams are Coed 4’s and must have minimum one female on court. Competitive A/AA and B/Junior Divisions

Fees: $80 per team early registration. Day of event $100 per team

Festival goers can enjoy complimentary jitney shuttle service running 10am-10pm along Atlantic Avenue between Coolidge and Fredericksburg Avenues and the Eugene A. Tighe School. Beachstock is organized by the MBA in partnership with Margate City.
