League Rules
- Team must have both team members present in order to play
- Boards are placed 27 feet apart (front edge to front edge)
- Team members stand at opposite cornhole boards
- Each team plays 4 bags of one color per round.
- Home team begins by throwing the first bag.
- Game continues by alternating throws between the two teams until all bags have been thrown for that round.
- The most recent team to score begins the next round.
- The bags may be thrown from anywhere behind the front of the cornhole board.
Scoring
- All games are played up to 21 points using “cancelation scoring”
- Teams do not need to score exactly 21 points to win.
- Points are scored as follows;
- 3 points for a bag that goes through the hole
- 1 point for a bag on the cornhole board
- 1 point for a bag hanging off the board but not touching the ground.
- 0 points for a bag touching the ground or touching another bag that is touching the ground
- A bag that touches the ground before landing on the board scores 0 points and is removed from the board.
- The team with the most points adds the net score (difference between both teams) to their total.
- The team that wins the round begins by throwing first in the next round. If neither team scores, the team that pitched first in the preceding round shall throw again.
- Forfeited bag results from throwing out of turn or throwing from in front of the board
- Any disagreements will result in a redo of throw in question.
