It’s A FLOATING QUACK-A-PALOOZA at Scott’s Dock! Weighted, numbered rubber ducks are dumped into the bay into a closed course and with a little help from the current, ducks are funneled towards the finish line. Ducks are removed with fishing nets by staff kayakers. Participants have NO interaction with the rubber ducks they can watch from the promenade area. Visa gift cards are awarded to the top three finishers.

Prizes are Visa pre-paid gift cards with 1st place prize winning $1000, 2nd place winning $500 and 3rd place winning $250. The ducks will be dumped into the closed course in the bay between Scott’s Dock and the Washington Avenue Pier with kayakers and boats guiding the ducks and making sure that no duck escapes. The rubber ducks will be scooped out by the kayakers at the end of the derby. A portion of the proceeds benefits MBA community programs.
